The appeal of visiting the Gumburu Environmental Education Centre is the opportunity to experience the stunning environment in which the centre is nestled. All facilities have been designed to integrate with and conserve the natural environment.
Accommodation consists of four separate dormitory style units, sleeping 52 people in total.
Each unit has 10 bunk beds and a separate room with 4 single bunk beds. Each has an area containing a sink and drying area and powerpoints. Bed linen and pillows are not supplied.
The toilets and showers are located in a separate block, adjacent to the dormitories. In keeping with the environmentally sustainable principles of which Gumburu was established, a clivas-malchem toilet system protects the local environment.
